Worse than a Woman
February 19th, 2007I have lots of shoes, probably an embarassing amount. Not only that but I have a lot of shoes for running. Granted you only need to wear one pair at a time.
I have six pairs of running shoes. Although to make it fair, one pair is now retired, and two pairs are for trail type running.
You're supposed to replace your shoes every 300-500 miles, here's what my old shoes looked like. You can tell when they are getting bad by the creases in the foam.
And what shoes should look like, these are my current running shoes with only 30-40 miles on them.

You can never have too many running shoes, although after mine run their course (running shoes to running errands shoes to mowing the lawn shoes to painting shoes) they usually get thrown away. But ONLY after they’ve lived a full and wonderful life.

Those are just my running shoes…I have another 15-20 pair elsewhere :p
