Thai Iced Tea: Part 2
May 26th, 2007I made up some of the finished product this morning.
Normal half/half or heavy whipping cream should stay on the top and make a cool looking layer, unfortunately this stuff just fell to the bottom.

Mix it up, and you have delicious drink (albeit way too sweet in my case...).

When the straws get here I will tell you about the wonders of boba (tapioca).

I thought the sweetened condensed milk was the true traditional way to make this. Regular milk is really kosher for Thai iced tea?

Regular milk probably not, but a lot of places make it with half/half or with heavy whipping cream. That or they don’t sweeten the tea near as much. Right now it’s like a sugar bomb.
