Observations for February 20th, 2008

February 20th, 2008

- A TV show about losing weight, The Biggest Loser, is a two hour program. Unless you're watching it in a gym, two hours on your rear watching other people lose weight is probably not beneficial.

- Passing someone while running, even if it means you have to wear yourself out, still makes me smile (even though it probably shouldn't).

- Going to the dentist is a lot easier when you've actually taken care of your teeth (yes I still need to floss).

- Even though I'm far from normal, people like this make me feel very normal.

finally, someone who i can identify with. my right foot just feels like doesn’t belong. i’m headed out to the garage to visit the table saw. never mind that i have two kids in the house. i’ll make sure it’s a clean enough cut that the bleeding is minimal and i can care for it myself. i’ll be back in the house to cook supper in a jiffy.

I smile sometimes when I run, just to smile. It makes me run faster.
