Obama for the Win

November 4th, 2008

It's never certain until it happens, but it appears the projections/polls/exit polls were right this time around.

The unfortunate thing is the Democrats now control everything, which could be thought of as good, until you realize they're probably foaming at the mouth because they haven't had a chance like this in nearly 2 decades. Something like bringing the fairness doctrine back up scares me a bit. Let's hope it goes well.

Let's hear it for history being made (and to hopefully never seeing Joe the Plumber again).

Way to completely steal my “never control all 3″ argument. I almost posted something on it an hour or two ago for posterity’s sake. 2008 is going to be the opposite of 2004. The Dems will get carried away, go way left, and lose big in 2010 mid-terms.

History is always being made. All the time.

The good news is that we got the idiots out of power. The bad news? We’ve got new idiots.

Seriously, tho, I am optimistic and am going to stay that way until given good reason to think otherwise. I have my fingers crossed that we have gotten past the age of superstition as a basis for politics.
