New Look
November 7th, 2007I'm not really a fan of complex and busy sites, but I somehow still liked my old theme. I haven't liked it for awhile but have done a lot of customization work to it. However I decided to bite the bullet and go to a more minimalist theme. Not sure if the orange will stick around, but hopefully the minimalism will.
Update: I'm having a few issues with some caching, so the Recent Comments/Links are kind of hosed right now...
Update 2: Got it fixed..woo!

About time you incorporate a design that doesn’t suck.
This change is greatly welcomed by the Minimalist Webring, of which I am a proud member.

I dig simple too and I like the change. I also wanted to ask you about the thing you mentioned being able to view my updates really fast. Does it also tell you when I update a post, or when comments etc are made?

It’s just an rss feed, so whenever you post it immediately updates that (and my rss reader happened to grab it really soon after that), you can subscribe to individual comment feeds, and sometimes overall…depends on the software.
And for updates, it depends on the RSS reader, but since your site republishes the feed you could definitely see if with a few minutes (if you were checking your feeds that often).

I agree w/ Derek - too much white. But it is good that you finally changed your theme, that other one was getting kind of old.

It’ll probably stay image free, however you may see random glyphs added..but I doubt it.

looked through them, you could find one or two decent ones………….

i seriously thought i was at the wrong website, i’ve never been so dis com bub u lated. seriously, i could barely find how to comment, is it supposed to be all white or is it my browser. i’m so confused. i liked the old design, maybe because i was used to it. i liked all the links on the right as well. i blame marriage, it spurs the boring growth hormone, lame plus 100, i’ve never heard of wordpress, is it like bench pressing words.
