Geotagging == “cool”

October 21st, 2006

Most of you are probably wondering, what is geotagging? Basically, it's adding gps coordinates to your photos. This means you can then show exactly where your photos were taken. I personally have a pocket gps tracker, and then merge them up with my photos when I get back home.

Rebekah and I headed up to the San Diego Zoo's Wild Animal Park. I put a few pictures up on flickr that were geotagged. Now you can stalk me even easier.

Also, I've been working on adding some things to the site. I have links up now, my own photos as backgrounds, and some other things should work better. I will probably continually improve it, but it's whenever I feel like it, and have time, which isn't very often.

    Was that a hint? I can add it to the list again…but I suppose you’re talking about the last post that I made, and left on the page for years :) .

    yeah that’s what I was referring to :) But by all means feel free to add it to the list. I prefer you make a new category though.
    “The most fantastic photographer that you could ever hope to photograph your wedding”
    derekpearson.com-

    That would make me pleased as punch. Plus under the category of “most awesome bike dude and his wierd bike deal”
    bikerubbish.com

    yes, I amuse myself and of course that is all that matters.

    Done and done. Your proposed category names were a bit too long, so they were revised.

    I need the link to my site in bold and about 2-pt larger font. Thanks!
