I like to think of myself as an adventurous eater and will try just about anything once. But I don’t think I could ever bring myself to try any of those four. Maybe the huitlacoche, but that’s a stretch.

sometimes I wonder about you!! ..
Although I don’t think those fish are still alive, it is some sort of bottom feeder, cut the head off of a cat fish or sucker and it will move for “some minutes” and there is no mistake they are dead.

Don’t go knocking balut until you’ve tried it. It honestly does not taste horrible. I was laughing too much to enjoy the full experience, but it wasn’t nearly as bad as I thought.

Well, people eat it and enjoy it and it apparently doesn’t kill you. It’s just one of the odd things I don’t think I could handle without gagging. Your pictures made it look absolutely disgusting also :p

I can’t say you didn’t warn me, but these were awful! I usually don’t have a very weak stomach, but then again, I’m “usually” not pregnant!
