Best Fish Tank Ever

March 29th, 2007

A deep fat fryer fish tank. Since oil/water do not mix, the fish can live on the bottom and eat the crumbs that fall down through the oil. Looks like this is a win win situation, although the goldfish has to adapt to 163 degree heat.

what kinda oil is that, that doesn’t explode when water is put in. Also there is no way that water is 163 degrees C or those would be fried fish. Where does the O2 come from for the fish. Hmm I sure wish I knew Japanese so that maybe I could get the answer to those questions and others

It appears as most people think the oil is being constantly heated, and the water constantly cooled, and there are some treatments to make the heat transfer a lot slower.

The Digg thread has some more commentary.

So when the fish get big enough, on the next friday, are the fish allowed to swim into the oil in order to have a one step fish fry?
