Casu marzu (also called casu modde, casu cundhídu, or in Italian formaggio marcio) is a cheese found in Sardinia, Italy, notable for being riddled with live insect larvae. Casu marzu means “rotten cheese” in Sardinian and is known colloquially as maggot cheese.

Rebekah doesn’t like looking at Mrs. Wildenstein every time my page loads, so apparently I need to post something new. So here it goes.

Awhile ago I found a site that documents some of the heaviest people in the world. To me it’s amazing that people can pack on in excess of 6-7 times their natural body weight, and our bodies somehow still manage to survive. Granted risk of disease, heart failure, etc all skyrocket. Here is a list of some of the heaviest people in the world. And because I can, here is a photo of #1.

Some more fun stuff. This is a 49 minute documentary that while disturbing I find fascinating. At one point this man could not lay on his back because the weight of his fat would suffocate him to death. He peaked at over half a ton.

This just opened up across the street. 8 different types of yogurt, and about 50 different toppings. Delicious.
